Refreshing this post as I’ve received many inquiries regarding print selection recently. Size really does matter!
I often recommend to my clients that they purchase a print to fit the space they’re decorating. On my pricing sheet provided in my information packet and on my website, every print 8×10 or small is labeled a “desk print”. I’ve done this for good reason. An 8×10 will not usually make any kind of a statement or impact if hung on your wall – you would need to be directly in front of the print or canvas to see it’s details – nor will it come close to filling the space you are decorating. You spent the time, money and effort to find a photographer you loved, someone you trusted would provide you with beautiful photographs of your newborn baby and turn a snapshot of your baby into art for your wall. Get the most bang for your buck. Your newborn is art.
